The People In My Life - My Father
Adrain Dougherty or as I more commonly refer to as My Dad, the amazing man that brought me into this world just so i can write this now (things really come full circle) But before I go on more on about me,here is some background info about himself
His Story
My father started her life in the great USA in California (right near where we live now currently) He was the Son of 7 other siblings throughout his childhood, 4 boys and 3 girls and an absent father with a dedicated mother was the household he grew up in. The oldest out of the entire bunch, he lived life pretty well getting into trouble left and right and really living that young life as many do. Which later is the reason he began to take boxing classes and started to put his time into his training, where he handled many fights that he won in his time. While he was boxing he also juggled his schooling over in Grant High School (the same as my Mother) As well as all of that he also began working in a number of spots making a quick buck here and there. But throughout it all, he met a young woman that was all about him (yup, my mum) Later as time moved on, he went into the Navy and took that time to better himself and be a man serving his county. Of course since he was stationed in San Diego that was where they moved out too and got married as they were there. (what a love story) But only a year after being married something amazing happened and these two young lovers were now going to be parents after finding out that his new wife was pregnant with a young little boy (Thats me in there!!) Shortly after they knew and were getting ready for their future baby, the kid had over plans and decided he wanted out early. So on April 4th 2008 coming earlier than anyone expected Darius Omar Dougherty was born. Just as before since he was born a little too early and was put in one of those UV light chambers to fix him up right. Later after that they moved back to where it all began, back to Sacramento, where after that some dark times came around. But keeping things lighter for once (I don’t want to get into it) Once they moved back over here he was offered a job back at his old gym to be a boxing trainer, which is where the both of them kept things working. And then as things always go they ended up giving birth to another boy, the birth of Emmanuel Sergio Dougherty (or Manny Boy as we call him now) and then shortly after another one came around and so Nolan Clavin Dougherty was brought into the world. Not long before and after that she began to take part ownership of a boxing gym called Prime Time Boxing along with my Mother, which is where they stand together till this day being an amazing duo being able to take on the world together
