Childhood Stories

I had a very fun childhood! I still am technically in the process of finishing the end of my childhood/juvenile hood, but what I have had as a child was more than I could ask for. I will include funny stories from when I was a kid and lessons I learned!

Earliest Memories

When I was around 3-4, I remember having a dirt ball fight with my siblings. We lived on a ranch until I was 7, and we had horses and a few chickens. We had a quarter of an acre, and a big yard. My sister had this bright idea of having a dirtball fight since we didn’t live in an area that snowed (Bakersfield). It was really fun and when my parents came home it was a mix of laughter and concern because by the end of the game we were all covered in mud and dirt from head to toe.

I remember when I was 4-5, I visited my grandparents in Mexico and I remember vivid memories from there with my siblings. Specific memories would include:

Funny Stories

I remember when I was 8, I thought I could cut my own bangs, and when I did it was horrid! My brother told me my forehead looked like a barcode, and I ended up having to go to school with my new haircut. It ended up growing out months later, but I learned to never cut my bangs ever again.

I remember when I was 9 I got my first dog, her name is Cassie and I still have her now. She came from the pound and we got her when she was two. She still is with us and is currently 10 years old. The first day she came to our house, she peed on the carpet and I managed to clean it before my mom found out…
