About Ellie
My sister, Ellie Whitten, although only being a year older than me, has still inspired me in many ways. Ellie is great at art, very smart, and has always been there for me.
Although we get on each other's nerves sometimes, we're very close and my life would be much different without her. As a child, I remember always drawing with Ellie, playing with her, and sometimes bickering. Even if we sometimes argued, and still argue today, I'm glad she's part of my life.
Ellie is very clever and has gotten one of the highest SAT scores. She gets high grades in all her classes as well. She knows a lot about the world, different animals, and art, and it's interesting to talk to her and learn about cool stuff.
How Ellie Inspires Me
Throughout my life, Ellie's been there for me. We're not only siblings, but close friends, and we like to talk, play, and hang out together. Ellie's been there in a lot of my hardest moments and many of my best moments.
Without Ellie, I never would have met most of my friends. Some of my first friends were people that were originally Ellie's friends, and I still talk to some of them today. All of my other friends, we met together, and it's likely I wouldn't have met those people if Ellie wasn't here.
One of my biggest hobbies is drawing and creating characters, and I probably wouldn't do that without Ellie, either. Ellie and I loved to draw together all the time as kids, and we used to make "books" out of stapled paper with different characters and stories. Creating characters is my favorite hobby, and it's somewhat related to what I want to do with my career as well. However, without Ellie, I likely never would have started making characters.
